Summer Lates brings outdoor entertainment to Woolwich

Greenwich residents and visitors can look forward to a packed schedule of free outdoor events, activities and entertainment this summer, thanks to support from the Mayor of London’s Summer Streets Fund. and entertainment this summer, thanks to support from the Mayor of London’s Summer Streets Fund.

In Woolwich, events are taking place across General Gordon Square, Royal Arsenal Riverside and other locations. Running throughout the summer and culminating in Woolwich Carnival in September, the programme will include markets, street performances and family-friendly activities, creating more opportunities for people to come together and enjoy local public spaces.

The programme is being delivered in partnership with organisations including the Windrush Museum, Woolwich Works and the Greenwich+Docklands International Festival, helping to showcase local culture and celebrate the diversity of the borough.

The Summer Streets Fund is part of the Mayor of London’s commitment to bring more life to high streets and town centres, helping Londoners make the most of the city throughout the summer and beyond.
