Summer evenings come alive with new Sydenham night market

Lewisham residents and visitors can look forward to a packed schedule of free outdoor events, activities and entertainment this summer, thanks to support from the Mayor of London’s Summer Streets Fund.

A new weekly food and drink night market will be introduced at Sydenham Station Approach.

Delivered in partnership with The Food Market Company, the market will feature around 10 local traders each week, alongside outdoor seating across the surrounding area. This will create more opportunities for people to enjoy local food and drink, support independent businesses and spend time in the town centre during the summer evenings.

The Summer Streets Fund is part of the Mayor of London’s commitment to bring more life to high streets and town centres, helping Londoners make the most of the city throughout the summer and beyond.
