Southbank Centre at 75

The Southbank Centre is celebrating its 75th birthday with a major anniversary programme. Highlights include a site wide takeover directed by Danny Boyle, a landmark Anish Kapoor exhibition at the Hayward Gallery, and a look back at 50 years of the iconic Southbank skate space.

The programme also features immersive mixed reality concerts and live festivals from the Goalhanger podcast crew, offering a wide range of events for Londoners to enjoy.

The Southbank Centre first opened in 1951 at the Festival of Britain, which was a landmark moment for the UK, using art and design to imagine a brighter, more optimistic future.
