Funding Boost for Lambeth Community Hub

Oasis Hub Waterloo in Lambeth has secured funding as part of a city-wide network of community spaces, supported the Mayor of London and The National Lottery Community Fund.

The £1.8 million programme, delivered over three years, is supporting local community organisations across the capital to reach even more Londoners by increasing the activities and support they deliver.

Through new Loved and Wanted Here activities, Oasis Hub Waterloo will be able to give even more Londoners opportunities to come together in a welcoming environment where residents can spend time together, share experiences, and strengthen local ties.

The programme builds on what many community spaces in London already do so well - offering places that feel open, friendly, and reflective of the city’s diversity. By bringing these important spaces together, it will be easier for people to find the support and access designed with them in mind.
Thanks to the programme, more Londoners will have access to places where they can connect with others, learn about their community and neighbours, and get involved in activities that matter to them.
